# Your choices and our site analytics

Chronometrica uses Google Analytics to measure site use. It runs by default unless your browser sends a supported privacy signal or you have saved an opt-out. There is no consent popup.

## Google Analytics

Google Analytics measures site use automatically. Use the settings at the end of this page to turn it off or back on in this browser. We remember your choice for up to 180 days. We respect choices saved under the previous consent popup. If browser storage is unavailable, Google Analytics stays off.

Google Analytics measures page views, engagement, broad device and location information, traffic sources, and selected clicks. This includes clicks to our tools on Apify. A click does not prove a tool run or a purchase. Google uses browser identifiers and cookies to provide its reports. Our Google Analytics cookies use the `chrono` prefix and are set to expire after 180 days without extending that date on each visit. Your browser may remove them sooner.

Our tracking code removes URL query strings and fragments from reported page addresses. It sends only bounded campaign labels and approved event fields. We do not send Google account emails, form contents, passwords, or copied text. Google receives network information, including your IP address, when your browser connects to its service. Read [how Google uses information from sites that use its services](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) and [Google's privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

We keep Google advertising features off. We do not use this setup to build advertising audiences or record sessions. The property uses a 14-month event-data retention setting. Standard summary reports can remain available longer under Google's retention rules.

If you turn off Google Analytics, our code stops further Google Analytics collection and removes this site's Google Analytics cookies. This does not delete data already received by Google.

## Browser privacy signals

Google Analytics honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. When either signal is enabled, our browser tracking stays off even if a prior Google Analytics choice allowed it. These signals do not prevent Cloudflare from processing network requests needed to deliver and protect the website.

## Security and request reports

Cloudflare processes network request information to serve the site and detect abuse. This includes requests from bots and requests for missing files. We do not combine these request reports with Google Analytics browser identifiers.

## Contact

For a privacy question or data request, contact [Chronometrica through Apify](https://apify.com/chronometrica). Include only the details needed to explain your request. Do not send passwords, API keys, or other secrets.
